A tak museli kati trhat zuhelnat\u011bl\u00e9 zbytky na mal\u00e9 kusy, drtit kosti a tato stra\u0161n\u00e1 dr\u0165 se znovu zapalovala. Popel, kter\u00fd zbyl, se pe\u010dliv\u011b sebral a hodil do \u0159eky. Inkvizito\u0159i t\u00edm cht\u011bli zabr\u00e1nit kac\u00ed\u0159\u016fm, aby se klan\u011bli poz\u016fstatk\u016fm sv\u00fdch mu\u010dedn\u00edk\u016f.<br \/> Jestli\u017ee kac\u00ed\u0159 odsouzen\u00fd k up\u00e1len\u00ed zem\u0159el d\u0159\u00edve, byla up\u00e1lena jeho mrtvola. Up\u00e1leny byly i poz\u016fstatky t\u011bch, kdo byli odsouzeni po smrti. \u0160pan\u011blsk\u00e1 a portugalsk\u00e1 inkvizice upalovala na hranici figur\u00edny zn\u00e1zor\u0148uj\u00edc\u00ed odsouzence (up\u00e1len\u00ed in efigie). Tomuto symbolick\u00e9mu up\u00e1len\u00ed byli podrobeni ti, kdo byli odsouzeni na do\u017eivot\u00ed, a rovn\u011b\u017e ti, kte\u0159\u00ed uprchli z v\u011bzen\u00ed nebo unikli pron\u00e1sledov\u00e1n\u00ed inkvizice.<br \/> Hranice pou\u017e\u00edvala inkvizice i k jin\u00e9mu \u00fa\u010delu \u2014 ke sp\u00e1len\u00ed knih odpadl\u00edk\u016f od v\u00edry, lid\u00ed jin\u00e9ho n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00e9ho vyzn\u00e1n\u00ed a spisovatel\u016f nepohodln\u00fdch c\u00edrkvi. Inkvizice d\u00e1vala p\u00e1lit tis\u00edce bu\u0159i\u010dsk\u00fdch teologick\u00fdch spis\u016f, nemilosrdn\u011b ni\u010dila kor\u00e1n, talmud, spisy nestori\u00e1n\u016f, manichejc\u016f, ari\u00e1n\u016f, katar\u016f a jin\u00fdch kac\u00ed\u0159\u016f, kter\u00e9 t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 \u00fapln\u011b vyhladila.<br \/> Pova\u017eovala se inkvizice za neomylnou, za neschopnou odsoudit a up\u00e1lit zcela nevinn\u00e9ho \u010dlov\u011bka? Naprosto ne. Nicolau Eymerich nap\u0159\u00edklad v\u016fbec nepop\u00edral, \u017ee mezi ob\u011b\u0165mi inkvizice mohli b\u00fdt i nevinn\u00ed lid\u00e9, av\u0161ak, jak tvrdil, \u201ebyl-li nevinn\u00fd nespravedliv\u011b odsouzen, nem\u00e1 si st\u011b\u017eovat na rozhodnut\u00ed c\u00edrkve, kter\u00e1 vynesla sv\u016fj rozsudek na z\u00e1klad\u011b dostate\u010dn\u00fdch d\u016fkaz\u016f a kter\u00e1 nem\u016f\u017ee nikomu vid\u011bt do du\u0161e, a jestli\u017ee fale\u0161n\u00ed sv\u011bdkov\u00e9 napom\u00e1hali jeho odsouzen\u00ed, mus\u00ed p\u0159ijmout rozsudek s pokorou a radovat se, \u017ee se mu dostalo mo\u017enosti zem\u0159\u00edt pro pravdu.&quot; (42)<br \/> Vyvst\u00e1v\u00e1 ot\u00e1zka, pokra\u010duje ve sv\u00fdch \u00favah\u00e1ch na toto t\u00e9ma Eymerich, m\u016f\u017ee-li v\u011b\u0159\u00edc\u00ed pomluven\u00fd fale\u0161n\u00fdm sv\u011bdkem, kter\u00fd se sna\u017e\u00ed zachr\u00e1nit p\u0159ed rozsudkem smrti, p\u0159iznat sv\u00e9 provin\u011bn\u00ed, jeho\u017e se nedopustil, tj. kac\u00ed\u0159stv\u00ed, a t\u00edm uvalit na sebe hanbu. Za prv\u00e9, jak \u0159\u00edk\u00e1 inkvizitor, reputace \u010dlov\u011bka je vn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed statek, a ka\u017ed\u00fd ji m\u016f\u017ee ob\u011btovat, aby se vyhnul mu\u010den\u00ed, je\u017e p\u0159in\u00e1\u0161\u00ed utrpen\u00ed, nebo zachr\u00e1nit sv\u016fj \u017eivot, kter\u00fd je t\u00edm nejcenn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm statkem; za druh\u00e9 ztr\u00e1ta reputace nikomu ne\u0161kod\u00ed. (43) Eymerich nakonec dosp\u00edv\u00e1 k z\u00e1v\u011bru: jestli\u017ee odsouzen\u00fd odm\u00edtne \u201eob\u011btovat svou reputaci&quot; a uznat svou vinu, je zpov\u011bdn\u00edk povinen ho vyzvat, aby p\u0159ijal muka a smrt v poko\u0159e. Za odm\u011bnu se mu dostane na onom sv\u011bte \u201enesmrteln\u00e1 koruna mu\u010dedn\u00edka&quot;. (44)<br \/> Tyto Eymericbovy \u00favahy n\u00e1zorn\u011b sv\u011bd\u010d\u00ed o zlo\u010dinn\u00e9 mor\u00e1lce inkvizitor\u016f a jejich ochr\u00e1nc\u016f. Koneckonc\u016f, jak uva\u017eovali advok\u00e1ti inkvizice, jednal \u201esvat\u00fd&quot; tribun\u00e1l z bo\u017e\u00edho vnuknut\u00ed a za jeho \u010diny m\u011bl posledn\u00ed odpov\u011bdnost s\u00e1m B\u016fh. V\u0161udyp\u0159\u00edtomn\u00fd, v\u0161emohouc\u00ed a v\u0161ev\u011bdouc\u00ed B\u016fh mohl kteroukoli ob\u011b\u0165 inkvizice uv\u00e9st mezi svat\u00e9 a p\u0159ipravit j\u00ed t\u00edm v\u011bcnou bla\u017eenost v r\u00e1ji. To znamenalo, \u017ee inkvizito\u0159i mohli s klidn\u00fdm sv\u011bdom\u00edm tr\u00fdznit a upalovat skute\u010dn\u00e9 nebo domn\u011bl\u00e9 nep\u0159\u00e1tele c\u00edrkve, jak to ostatn\u011b vy\u017eadovaly z\u00e1jmy \u201esvat\u00e9 v\u011bci&quot;&#8230;<br \/> Teroristick\u00e1 \u010dinnost inkvizi\u010dn\u00edho tribun\u00e1lu, p\u016fsob\u00edc\u00edho po stalet\u00ed v cel\u00e9 \u0159ad\u011b zem\u00ed, m\u011bla neblah\u00fd vliv i na teorii a praxi ob\u010dansk\u00e9ho soudnictv\u00ed, z n\u011bho\u017e vymizely z\u00e1rodky objektivnosti a nezaujatosti, kter\u00e9 byly slastn\u00ed je\u0161t\u011b \u0159\u00edmsk\u00e9mu pr\u00e1vu. Jak \u0159\u00edk\u00e1 spr\u00e1vn\u011b H. Ch. Lea, do konce 18. stolet\u00ed se stalo ve v\u011bt\u0161in\u011b Evropy inkvizi\u010dn\u00ed soudnictv\u00ed, rozv\u00edjej\u00edc\u00ed se za \u00fa\u010delem zni\u010den\u00ed kac\u00ed\u0159stv\u00ed, obvyklou metodou pou\u017e\u00edvanou v\u016f\u010di v\u0161em ob\u017ealovan\u00fdm. V o\u010d\u00edch sv\u011btsk\u00e9ho soudce byl ob\u017ealovan\u00fd \u010dlov\u011bkem stoj\u00edc\u00edm mimo z\u00e1kon a jeho vina se v\u017edy p\u0159edpokl\u00e1dala: bylo t\u0159eba za ka\u017edou cenu, d\u016fvtipem nebo n\u00e1sil\u00edm, vymoci na n\u011bm dozn\u00e1n\u00ed.<br \/> Takov\u00fd byl \u010f\u00e1belsk\u00fd stroj c\u00edrkevn\u00ed inkvizice, o jeho\u017e \u201eblahod\u00e1rn\u00e9m&quot; \u00fa\u010dinku na osudy spole\u010dnosti st\u00e1le je\u0161t\u011b p\u00ed\u0161\u00ed n\u011bkte\u0159\u00ed obh\u00e1jci c\u00edrkve.  <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"> Z knihy: Grigulevi\u010d, I.: D\u011bjiny inkvizice.
