Woman to Women
Jmenuji se Alena Klepšová a jsem z komunistické strany v České republice. A chtěla bych Vám říci, že do roku 1989 jsme v České republice žili v socialistickém státě.
A problémy, které tady ženy diskutují byly u nás v té době samozřejmostí, např.:
– právo na vzdělání: v přístupu ke vzdělání nebyl žádný rozdíl mezi dívkou a chlapcem. Dnes jsme v situaci, kdy sociálně slabší rodiny stojí před rozhodnutím, zda nechají studovat dívku či chlapce. Prostě obě děti na studiích neutáhnou;
– právo na interrupci: toto rozhodnutí bylo zcela na ženě. Žena se rozhodovala, zda chce či nechce být matkou, nakonec břímě výchovy je převážně na matce. Naštěstí i přes snahy katolíků, toto právo našim ženám zůstalo;
– jesle a mateřské školy byly rovněž samozřejmostí, byl vypracován celý systém předškolní a školní výchovy dětí. Dnes jsou jesle z 90 % zrušeny jako pozůstatek komunismu, který ostatně tady nikdy nebyl. Přístup ke vzdělání měli všichni i národnostní menšiny (v Moravsko slezském kraji, kde žiji máme hodně polských občanů, pro tyto občany jsou základní i střední školy s výukou v polštině) a bezplatně! Dnes chtějí zavádět školné!;
– socialistická společnost u nás byla spravedlivá, s rovnými právy žen i mužů. Jediné, co je nám dnes vyčítáno je, že jsme nedokázali odstranit dvojí zatížení žen a to práci v zaměstnání a druhou práci doma, pro rodinu+
– závěrem chci zdůraznit, že většina otázek, které trápí feministické hnutí, jsou otázky systému! Jiné přístupy k ženám v socialismu a jiné v kapitalismu. Dnes za svá práva, díky pravicové vládě, musíme znovu bojovat. Jsme opět na začátku!
My name is Alena Klepšová and I am from the Communist Party of the Czech Republic. I would like to tell you that until 1989 we lived in the socialist country in Czechoslovakia. And problems discussed here by women were in that period of time obvious, for example:
– the right for education: there was no diference between girls and boys. Today we are in the situation when underprivileged families have to decide if they let study their son or daughter. They just cannot finance both of their children during their studies;
– the right for abortion: this decision was totally on woman. The woman decided if she wanted to be a mother or not, because finally the care and education of children depends mostly on woman. Fortunately despite of the efforts of the Catholics, this right still belongs to our women.
– nurseries and kindergartens were also obvious, there was worked out whole system of pre-school and school education of children. Today 90 % of nurseries were canceled as the remainder of the Communism which has never been in our country anyway. Access to the education had everyone including the national minorities (in Moravan-Silesian region, where I live, we have a lot of Polish people, for whom we have education in primary and secondary schools in their mother tongue) and free of charge! Today they want to put on tuition fees!;
– the socialist society in our country was rightful with equal rights for women and men. The only matter which is taxed to us today is that we did not manage to clear out the double stress of women at their profession work and at their housework at home, for family;
– at the end I want to emphasize that most of the questions, which annoy feminist movement are the questions of system! There are different accesses to women in socialism and in capitalism. Today we have to fight again for our rights thanks to the right wing government. We are again at the beginning!
